Cem-FIL®
60/2 Chopped Strands 12 and 24 mm: a general purpose AR glass fibre
chopped strand designed for premixing with other materials and the
resulting mix formed by vibration casting or other process into a
moulded GRC component. Cem-FIL® 60/2 chopped strand is designed
for ease of incorporation even at high dosage and remains integral
during mixing. It is used in the manufacture of standard GRC components
such drainage channels or meter boxes, or in architectural applications
such as decorative mouldings or screen walling. |

Cem-FIL®
62/2 Chopped Strands 6,12, 18 and 24 mm: a high integrity AR glass
fibre chopped strand designed for use in dry mix systems or other
premixing processes for subsequent moulding into a GRC component.
Cem-FIL® 62/2 chopped strand has a sizing system optimised for
abrasion resistance and strand integrity during blending with dry
materials. The low-tex strand permits efficient reinforcement at low
dosages. It is particularly suited to the preparation of pre bagged
mixes of special mortars or renders. It may also be used in the manufacture
by precasting of standard GRC components such as roof slates. |

Cem-FIL®
60/38 Chopped Strands 12 mm: a low tex AR glass fibre chopped strand
designed for use in dry mix systems or other premixing processes for
subsequent moulding into a GRC component. Cem-FIL® 60/38 chopped
strand has a low-tex strand construction which permits efficient reinforcement
at low dosages. The sizing system gives easy incorporation whilst
retaining good strand integrity during mixing. 60/38 is suited both
to the preparation of pre bagged mixes of special mortars or renders,
and the manufacture by precasting of standard GRC components. |

70/30 |
|
Cem-FIL®
70/30 Chopped Strands 3, 6, 9 and 12 mm: a special purpose AR glass
fibre chopped strand designed for mixing with cement and other materials
where a high degree of dispersion of the fibres is needed. Cem-FIL®
70/30 is typically used as a replacement for asbestos fibre in the
modification of special mortar mixes or alternatively in special industrialised
processes. Cem-FIL® 70/30 chopped strands have a sizing system
which is water dispersible, allowing full dispersion into individual
filaments on mixing in an aqueous environment. It is used in render
and concrete repair mixes, and in the manufacture of standard GRC
components such as refractory mouldings and calcium silicate components
by special processes. |
